The Kirke is a versatile EDC/tactical folding knife that features the original modified wharncliffe blade, that characterize many Hydra's designs.
Kirkē (Circe) was a goddess of sorcery, also called the Dread Goddess, who was skilled in the magic of transmutation and illusion. According to some author, Kirkē was the daughter of the Roaring Goddess Hecate; this is reflected on the knife in the choice to maintain some details (such as the handle texture and the blade shape) of the Hydra's Hecate design.
The blade, made in Nitro V steel, has a black stonewashed finish that helps to hide those hard-use scratches.
The flipper opening and the generous thumb-hole allow for fast opening with one hand, and ball bearings added smoothness to the action.
The button-lock mechanism makes unlocking the blade easy and intuitive, as well extremely safe.
The 3D textured G10 scale coupled with steel nested liner combines strength with visual appeal. The handle is further embellished with the blue/gray backspacer that match the pivot collar.
The textured handle scales have pronounced finger and thumb recesses to help give you a secure grip even during difficult cutting tasks.
